Item Online Examination System(2018-07-15) Shamia Ahmed ChowdhuryToday online examination system has become a fast growing examination method because of its speed and accuracy. Online Examination is an Internet based questionnaire .online examination system consists of facilities to examine the skills of candidate those who are coming to join in the institution/company. It is also needed less manpower to execute the examination. Almost all organizations now-a-days, are conducting their objective exams by online examination system It also helps the environment by saving paper. It saves students time in examinations. Online examination helps students and its mission is to offer a quick and easy way to appear for the exam. Organizations can also easily check the performance of the student that they give in an examination. The online examination is designed to improve examination process among educational institutions. The system can be used to conduct varying examination questions including theory based and multiple choice formats. There are no limitations on number of options and it can be randomized. This provides time limit. The user can see their results after completing the exam. My Structured Query Language and Cascading Style Sheet, PHP, MYSQL. Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs) and E-R diagram have been developed to represent the whole system. This also makes checking the answer easy and error proof as computers are more accurate than man and provide fast results too. This project have registration system and user registration option in which name, user name, password, email id must be given. Online Examination has multiple features such as Add, Delete, Update Topics and Question. The user will automatically get the updated version by logging using the user ID and Password provided at the time of registration. The program can look after inpatients/outpatients records, database treatments, status illness, billings in the pharmacy and labs. The main focus of our system is online doctor appointment (Booking) that means a person can appoint any doctor from any place through internet. So it’s very helpful because it will be save our time. It also maintains hospital information such as ward no, doctors in charge and department administering. We will divide the whole system into several segments such as patient information, doctor information, all the test information e.g. x ray, urine test, stool test, blood test, biochemistry etc., all the billing details, all the employee details, job opportunity etc. Every segments has contain different database for clear concept. We use here MySQL database to implement the system. The purpose of the project is to computerize the Front Office Management of Hospital to develop software which is user friendly, simple, fast, and cost – effective. This system will be helpful for people because there are few paper based task, people can know any kinds of information easily and handle this system without any problem because it will be online based automated system. It deals with the collection of patient’s information, diagnosis details etc. Traditionally, it was done manually. The project outlines all the process followed to come up with the software that is from analysis to testing the system.Item EARLY GESTATIONAL DIABETES DETECTION THROUGH NEURAL NETWORK(2018-07-30) TANZINA RAHMAN HERAGestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is defined as any degree of glucose intolerance with onset or first recognition during pregnancy. Fifty percent of GDM patients develop type 2 Diabetes in next twenty years and as well as the newborn can also be affected by diabetes in their lifetime. So the long term complications for both the mother and the child cannot be ignored. In view of maternal morbidity and mortality as well as fetal complications, early diagnosis is an utmost necessity in the present scenario. In developing country like Bangladesh, early detection and prevention is more cost effective and troublesome. So there is an urgent need for a well-designed method for the detection of gestational diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study is to predict the GDM in the first trimester. This research presents and compares some Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models on the early detection of Gestational diabetes mellitus and chooses the best neural network model among them to detect GDM early.Item ONLINE BASED UNIVERSITY ADMISSION SYSTEM FOR UNDERGRADUATES(2018-07-30) ARIFAs the number of students appearing for the admission are increasing every year, it requires much effort and time to handle the admission system with man power and paper system. So we are in need of a better system to make the process easier and serves better which could be done by Computerized Student Admission System that facilitates the work of the universities and at the same time it must reduce the work load of the organization with expected quality. Quality in the sense, the system try to avoid the mistakes that are usually happen during the Admission Process. As still in our government universities all the work at the time of admission of the students is done manually by ink and paper, which is very slow and consuming much efforts and time. It is required to Design of a online Admission System, to speed up and make it easy to use system.The Online Admission Application System allows institutes to receive applications through the web and candidates need not collect physical forms. Candidates are required to visit the admission website of the institute. All eligibility criteria, no. of seats, selection criteria etc are mentioned in the website. Candidates are required to fill in the online subject choice form and submit it online. The University Admission System has been developed in order to automate the admission system starting after the admission test to until admission process is completed. The system enables online admissions saving the time of the geographically scattered students. It enables reducing time in activities, centralized data handling and paperless admission with reduced manpower. It improves the operational efficiency and reduces the cost. This is a online web application allows us to access the whole information about the admission process. This application also provides information about the Campus & department review so that the applicants can choice their subject choice form without any hesitation. Online admission system has two basic modules. They are Applicant module & Administrator module. Using applicant module, the applicants will fill up subject choice form & submit necessary documents including cash receipt etc. Using administrator module, the administrators will manage admission processes. Thus making the admission process easy and quick.Item DIGITLAL ALLOWANCE ESTIMATION TECHNIQUE FOR EMPLOYEE(2018-11-20) MD.HAFIZ ULLAHEstimate Allowance is a computerized system designed and programmed to calculate remuneration or allowance of employees. The calculation of remunerations or allowance is very important for both management and employees. Most of organization calculates their employee’s remuneration or allowance by manual system. To calculate as manual system, it is a complex process. We proposed a computerized system that overcomes all limitations of traditional system. In this thesis, our proposed system as named Estimate Allowance will implemented for teachers. Basically, our system focuses on the calculation of teacher’s allowance for taking examination.Item MODEL DEVELOPMENT FOR COMBINED UNIVERSITY ADMISSION SYSTEM IN RESPECT OF BANGLADESH(2018-11-30) SAGAR MAHMUDEducation encompasses our lives and as the foundation of our society. Inefficient admission system reduces the number of efficient students in the university due to its speed, delay and harassment. The number of students seeking higher education in Bangladesh is increasing in a good rate every year. Student admissions are playing very important role in major activities of any university. The basic requirement of the university is students ,without students university cannot survive. It affects the overall resources of the universities and its quality constraints. University admission process in Bangladesh is very complex, time-consuming and costly. There are many types of universities in Bangladesh. Admission process is different from one university to another university so suffering of candidates is very high. Some universities authority agrees to take integrated admission system and some authority is not interested to take integrated admission. There is no such admission model to solve this problem. So better admission process is necessary to solve this problem. This paper proposed some model for combined admission test. The focus of this paper is to identify those models, which can reduce the limitation of the traditional admission system and provide a quality admission process. For proposing model, we had gone through the different country admission process, technical papers of this field, find out necessary data from online and survey so that we can easily planning, analyzing, design, and testing. This paper presents three model that serves as the core design for a university admission recommender system.Item ONLINE SUPER SHOP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM(2018-11-30) SUMITRA RANI DEBNATHAn online super shop management system that permits a customer to submit online orders for items and/or services from a store that serves both walk-in customers and online customers. The online super shop management system presents an online display of an order cut off time and an associated delivery window for items selected by the customer. The system accepts the customer's submission of a purchase order for the item in response to a time of submission being before the order cut off time. The online super shop management system does not settle with a credit supplier of the customer until the item selected by the customer is picked from inventory but before it is delivered. Therefore, the customer can go online and make changes to the order. In addition, available service windows are presented to the customer as a function of customer selected order and service types and further, the order picking is assigned in accordance with a picker's preference. When ordering goods, many shopping systems provide a virtual shopping cart for holding items selected for purchase. Successive items selected for purchase are placed into the virtual shopping cart until a customer completes their shopping trip.Item DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF E-LIBRARY FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND COMPUTER SCIENCE(2018-11-30) SHEIKH SHAKAWAT HOSSAINIn today’s world, everything is digitalized and paper is being used less and less every day. E-books become more popular than paper books. There are a number of benefits of E-books over paper books. E-books are delivered almost instantaneously. We can download and start reading them within minutes, without leaving our chair. No trees are required to manufacture paper for the pages of e-books. When we need certain information, we can get it immediately, by downloading an e-book. E-books take up less space. We practically don't need any space to store them. We can store hundreds and thousands of e-books on our computer or reading device. E-books are portable. With today's technology we can read e-books everywhere, on the bus, train, airplane, and while standing in line. E-books are searchable. We can easily search for any information in an e-book, instead of turning page after page. Since e-books are delivered through the Internet, there are no packing and shipping expenses. E-books can be printable, so that if we wish to read an e-book in the traditional way, we can very inexpensively print it with our home printer or at any printing shop. An E-library for computer science and Information Technology might help students of our country as most of the IT books of our syllabus are not available everywhere and also cost effective for us. The developed system aims to an E-Library for Computer Science and Information Technology where stored most of free source IT books sequentially with different sub categories.Item DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DIGITAL NOTICE BOARD (DNB)(2018-11-30) SELIM AHEMMEDIn an institution or organization, rapid information spreading is very important. Using of wall Notice Board in every place is a tedious work since it needs to be updated vigorously and with correct and right information manually. A Digital Notice Board System (DNB) is presented here to reduce the delaying time of the information to spread across the institution or organization as well as managing the right information only to being displayed on the notice board. DNB will help the students to get the updates and know what is going on within the environment wherever they are in due time. The prime objective of our system is to create a fully, fledged application which will display the notices of events happening in and around the institution or organization so that no one will miss out being notified of interesting events like education, courses, and all about university students such as conferences, workshops, placements, etc. These notices can have text, images or include any kind of attachment files. Users can browse events categorically from the various category like sports, department, cultural, etc. happening in the institute with a single tap. This project includes major activity entities: add notices, add news, and add student result which is handled by Admin. The Admin can add, delete, and update them simultaneously on the online system. These can then be viewed by the Students, Teachers, Employees and Guests. The system will primarily be web-based so as to facilitate easy access to all staff or students regardless of their location or the type of machine. This project will teach us the practical implementation of object oriented programming. Moreover, this will also provide us first-hand experience in several important fields of a Computer Engineering like Web Development and Application Development. It will also help us to learn web development scripts like PHP, JavaScript, HTML, JQuery and CSS and DBMS like MySQL. Apart from these, we strongly believe going through this project will make us more competent for similar future tasks and enhance our technical and other abilities. The local blockchain is only maintained by it’s owner.To increase the security level and to secure the data from sharing external environment, the blockchain technology is used.Item Criminal Record Management System For Bangladeshi Law Agencies(2019-06-30) Bismoy SahaThe need for good record-keeping and information-sharing practices has taken on added significance in today’s global environment. Not only do good records provide crucial internal information, law enforcement agencies now need to communicate agency-to-agency and across States in order to protect the Nation’s citizens. Criminal Record Management System has been implemented as an accessible Web-based query application, which provides timely and accurate information on Offenders. The software implemented is a typical automated crime records management system, based on client-server architecture allowing data storage and criminal record interchange among the police station,court, immigration and passportoffice.Since manual crime records keeping by Bangladeshi police has been bedevil with high cost of saving data, as it is mostly associated with paperwork, frequent case of missing files because records is not properly secured and lack of good storage media which makes retrieval of records quite stressful and has leads to data redundancy. Therefore, the application will help to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the police security measures in keeping criminal records, and to provide the crime investigator with timely and accurate information about a particular crime in a specified location. It will give him idea about a person. Did he commit any crime before that?So that the police or court will treat the person based on his past record. The application was developed to eliminate paper-based information exchanges and to facilitate the electronic provision of criminal record to crime investigator.The design and implementation was carried out using the top down development approach (waterfall model). The tools used to implement this project are Laraveland SQL server.Item INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE IN DEVICE TO DEVICE COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY IN 5G CELLULAR NETWORK(2019-06-30) NUSRAT JAHANDevice-to-Device communication (D2D) process are used in 5G cellular network. D2D allows communication between two devices, without participation of the Base station or the evolved NodeB (eNB). In 5G cellular networks, with D2D communication enabled within is considered as two-tire networks. These two tire networks are referred to as macro-cell tire and device tire. The two-tier network needs to be designed with smart interference management strategies and appropriate resource allocation schemes. In two-tire network architecture cellular users and D2D users share common Resource Blocks (RBs). Such paradigms allow potential increase in the number of supported users but it increase the cost of interference. Because of this we need to design an efficient interference management system. Interference can be reduced by appropriate resource allocation and power control. We propose a two steps approach. In the first step we concerns with the efficient RB allocation to the users. The second one is the transmission power allocation. . We discuss about a minimum interference resource allocation algorithm based on the TDMA method and power control scheme. Firstly peer has to detect, then select the best mode (D2D or Cellular) depends on the distance. Two peer discover technique are used, one is fully dependent on the base station network and another is semi dependent on the network. We present an optimized mode selection process .For D2D users and cellular users resource are allocated, depends on the path gain. We proposed a minimum interference algorithm to allocate resource. In order to control power three power control scheme has been used. Hence in terms of increased number of users, interference reduction and power minimization can be done efficiently. After simulation using MATLAB we analysis the developed algorithm. We see that D2D communication is fast and efficient if we able to mitigate interference.Item DIGITAL ALLOWANCE ESTIMATION TECHNIQUE FOR EMPLOYEE(2019-06-30) MD. ABUL HASANGenerally the miscellaneous allowances or remuneration of the employees of an organisation are calculated manually. Particularly the remuneration of a faculty of a institute concerning examination is calculated manually. Sometimes the faculty has to fill-up a form to write distinct required information. This work is seemed cumbersome. It is a complex process and takes time. It bears scope of numerous errors. In this perspective, this research work aims to develop a digital system is advantageous. It will take less time. It is very easier in estimating the allowances. The obtained result is accurate. The faculty or employee of an institute or organization can use this digital system in order to enumeration their remuneration related with examination. It is very effective process. Huge number of individuals as well as organization will be benefited using this digital system. This digital system is developed for desktop application (windows) and web based application. As a desktop application user can use this system without internet. As a web based application user must need internet . The desktop application is being developed using Dot net framework using C# programming language and the web based application is being developed using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, JQuery and CSS and DBMS like MySQL, Bootstrap, Laravel Framework.Item MODELLING THE EFFECT OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON FEMALE STUDENT USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK (ANN)(2020-01-30) FARIHA NAWSHINSocial Media are growing rapidly among the young generation all over the world. The impact of social media (SM) in our education institutions and society today are undoubtedly overwhelming. Students in the developed and developing countries are becoming more addicted to social media and its applications for various reasons which will affect student specially female student’s personal and professional life. This study aims to determine the impact of social media on female student’s social lifestyle using Artificial Neural Network (ANN). The study deployed a quantitative research methodology involving questionnaire as research instrument among 100 female university students in Bangladesh. After training and testing the dataset we find that model accuracy is more than 90%.The findings include the following: social media refines how female students think, interact, communicate, fall in love (find love), positive and negative effects on them, their social lifestyle and many more. It was concluded that in despite of public views concerning the misuse of social media among female students in the society, some of the students were interested to use social media positively for their educations and other activities of their social life. But the negative impacts of social media among the undergraduates appeared to be higher as compared to positive impacts.Item A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON HEART DISEASE PREDICTION USING DIFFERENT MACHINE LEARNING CLASSIFICATION ALGORITHMS(2020-01-30) MD. IMAM HOSSAIN & MEHADI HASAN MARUFHeart disease is the leading cause of death over the past 10 years all over the world. The risk factors of heart disease may hold numerous measures and considering all the measures increases the time of medical practitioners for the decision-making process. The main aim of this work is to pave the way to maintain the huge datasets with the appropriate measures and choose the right approach which would provide a faster and more accurate prediction of heart disease depending on the accuracy rate of the measures. In this thesis, we examine and compare the performance metrics of different machine learning classification algorithms to predict heart disease. This comparison shows the different accuracy, precision, and recall rates of different techniques and the reasons behind their variations. We used collected data that we collect from the different hospitals in Bangladesh. We preprocess our collected data and then divide it into two sections named training and testing datasets. The Logistic Regression, Naive Bayes Classifier, K-Nearest Neighbor, Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and Multi-Layer Perceptron Neural Networks techniques have been investigated in this research. By the end of the implementation part, we have found Random Forest is giving the maximum score in all sectors like accuracy, precision, recall, and f1 score in our dataset, and Multi-Layer Perceptron is performing very poorly. Random Forest gives a maximum of 90 percent accuracy and KNN gives the second-best 85 percent accuracy. Other algorithms like KNN, SVM, and Decision Tree also show overall good performances. The reasons for variations of these different techniques by analyzing their characteristics and behavior with respect to the dataset have been understood by the study conducted for this thesis. The research outcome is the implementation of machine learning on healthcare data and finding a better technique for prediction.Item CLASSIFICATION OF EARLY AND LATE BLIGHT DISEASE OF POTATO USING CONVOLUTIONAL NEURAL NETWORK(2020-12-08) Jesmin AktherCrop diseases are a major threat to cultivate, and need to supervise growth and detrimental diseases in time. Potato early and late blight disease symptoms and detection both are vague to distinguish and isolate. The rising combination of smartphone penetration and recent advances in deep learning has paved the way for smart device assisted disease prognosis. Relying on pure naked-eye observation to detect and classify diseases can be very cumbersome. Absolute detection process proves to be effective and convenient for researchers. The technique of training deep learning models on increasingly vast and globally available image datasets presents a clear path toward smartphone aid crop disease experiment around the world. The color and analyze layer features are used to best match to recognize and classify different agriculture produce into early blight and late blight affected disease. Both features prove to be very effective in disease detection. This paper deployed a Sequential convolutional neural network (CNN) model to detect and identify diseases in real time survey potato leaves labeling early and late blight. In addition to normalization, divide and extract the images to prepare data prior CNN. This work adopts slight variation during CNN model finalization with the help of Tensorboard analysis. This analyzed effectively optimized model validation accuracy each layer by layer hierarchically. Best layers ensure to create the final model which assures 94% accuracy for this dataset and short timing classification. The experimental results indicate that the approach significantly can be modified model accuracy in automatic detection of both affected bight.Item ANALYSIS ON IMPACT OF PRECEDING EDUCATIONAL PERFORMANCE ON THE RESULTS ACQUIRED IN HIGHER STUDY(2020-12-08) MONIR HOSSAINAcademic performance has been one of the most important goals of the educational process. Academic achievement is a key mechanism through which adolescents learn about their talents, abilities and competencies which are an important part of developing career aspiration. It is also a major goal, which every individual is expected to perform in all cultures. Many researches have been conducted to investigate factors affecting students’ performance in university and colleges. The aim of this research is that determine the impact of students academic result in school and college on student’s performance in university level. We determine the effect of SSC and HSC result in honor’s result. We find out the importance of various subject including Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology by determine individual impact on honors result in department of engineering and biology faculty. We also analysis the university honor’s result categorized by gender, department, SSC board and university admission merit. The research is based on student records based on the dataset collected through assessment from university databases. Data analysis technique- statistical analysis technique was used to extract useful information from the database using Rapid Miner software. The results obtained by using various charts like scatter, multiple scatter and bar charts. This analysis result helped to find out many useful information based on which proper guidance and suggestions are designed for students. Students will know more that which subject should be given more importance. Students will also see examples of good results in university without getting good results in the past and they will be more energetic to good results.Item Automated Class Routine and Exam Schedule Management System(ACRESMS)(2020-12-08) SHABBIR AHAMMEDEvery educational institution needs class routine and exam schedule for its activities. Automated Class Routine and Exam Schedule Management System(ACRESMS) is very important in any educational institutions. The authority can create class routine and exam schedule by clicking this system, generate class routine, update routine, generate exam schedule, update exam schedule and deleted it easily. This system saves time and reduce paper based work. We will divide the system into different segments such as teacher’s information, course information, classroom details, teacher details, time management, session, years, teacher summery etc. Every segments have contained different database for clear concept. We use here MySQL database to implement the system. The purpose of the project is to automated making ACRESMS which is user friendly, simple and fast. This system will be helpful for any institutions because there are few paper based task, student can get class schedules and exam schedule easily and admin can handle this system without any problem because it will be online based system. This system reduces complexity of class room, teacher availability problem, examination hall room, invigilator availability and paper based complexity. This system will be user friendly system.Item AN EFFECTIVE APPROACH FOR EARLY LIVER DISEASE PREDICTION(2020-12-08) FARIA AFRINLiver is one of the main organ of our body. It will be functioning normally even when it is partially damaged, therefore problems with liver patients cannot easily discovered in an early stage. Patient’s survival rate can be increased by an early identification of liver problems. Liver disease can be diagnosed by observing the levels of enzymes in the blood. Many researchers working on this issue and try to find the best algorithm with using Liver patient dataset which is suitable for predicting disease in early age. In this research liver patient dataset is investigated for building different classification models to get better result by comparing with the accuracy of the classifiers for disease prediction. Real data in this purpose is collected from the hospitals. This paper uses different classification methods including Bagged Trees, Support vector machine (SVM), K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Fine Tree classification methods. It can give a good impact on the liver disease diagnosis and it can be beneficial for physicians and can help to reduce the cost of diagnosis in the medical sector.
